  14.      The ttoouuppppeerr() function converts a lower¡case letter to the corresponding
  15.      upper¡case letter.  If the argument is a lower¡case letter, the ttoouuppppeerr()
  16.      function returns the corresponding upper¡case letter if there is one;
  17.      otherwise the argument is returned unchanged.
